Sicily

Sicily is Italy's largest region and the largest island in the Mediterranean. It's home to Europe's most active volcano, Mt Etna. Traditional foods include arancini, caponata, cannoli and granita. Among the island's most famous pasta dishes are pasta alla norma, pistachio and Sicilian pesto, baked anelletti and pasta with bottarga (tuna roe), sea urchins or fresh tuna.
