Recipes from Lazio and Rome.

Lazio is a central region of Italy. It was the heart of the ancient roman empire and is home to the capital, Rome. Some of the most famous Italian pasta recipes came from here including cacio e pepe, spaghetti carbonara, arrabiata and amatriciana. There are also many less well-known pasta and gnocchi dishes from this part of Italy worth trying such as Roman oxtail ragu, spaghetti alla checca and gnocchi alla Romana.
