Le Marche (Marche region)

Marche is situated between the Apennine mountains and the Adriatic coast in Central Italy. The Marche cuisine involves more meat and some popular recipes include gnocchi with duck ragu, paccheri alla pesarese and spaghetti mare monti (spaghetti with mushrooms and calamari).
