Friuli Venezia Giulia

Friuli Venezia Giulia is a northeastern region that borders both Austria and Slovenia. It’s known for its mountains and excellent white wine vineyards. The cuisine in this region is influenced by the bordering countries and they make use of ingredients that aren’t used in other parts of Italy.
