Recipes from The Aosta Valley

Pasta isn't as traditional in the tiny mountainous Aosta Valley region in Italy's North West corner as other parts of the country. However, there are a number of traditional pasta dishes worth trying, such as homemade chestnut pasta. And, some wonderful gnocchi recipes like gnocchi alla Bava, made with typical local cheeses the region is famous for.
